Attached ADUs are dwelling units that are attached to the main unit. This is when you convert an area of the main unit into a separate living space. This unit has its own entrance, kitchen, and bathrooms. This is a great option for those with limited lot space or who want to keep family close. 

As the name suggests, a garage conversion is when you convert your garage into an ADU unit.  This is great for someone who doesn't want to sacrifice their existing livable space and doesn't use their garage.
